The Room For Eerything
Metropolitan Three is Generations Hall's largest and most versatile event space, with a rich history of hosting legendary performers including Ray Charles, ZZ Top, John Mellencamp, The Blue Man Group, Irma Thomas, Allen Toussaint, and Jimmy Buffett. Featuring 35-foot vaulted ceilings, a full concert stage, three green rooms, ample production power, multiple bars, built-in audiovisual capabilities, and a flexible floor plan, it's one of New Orleans' premier venues for concerts, weddings, conventions, banquets, and large-scale private events.

FOUR Peavey QW series double 15″ cabinets ( 8 15″ speakers total, 4 cabinets) flying from the ceiling
TWO Peavey QW series double 18″ subwoofers (4 18″ speakers total, 2 cabinets) located under the stage
FOUR filler speakers in the rear of the room for sound reinforcement, 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs
Peavey GPS series amplifiers pushing the speakers at manufacturer required specs
VIDEO
Standard video projector with drop down screen located above performers head approximately 10′ center stage
FOUR 50″ TVs in the back of the room, 2 on the first floor and 2 on the second floor
ONE CCTV camera available for video display. Zoom, pan, and tilt are available
Computer-based video and audio playback options are available, including PowerPoint presentations and MP4 files.

LIGHTING
The intelligent lights are controlled by Martin Light Jockey (a computer based dmx software)
SIXTEEN Par 64 stage lights controlled by a simple Leviton dimmer pack
FOUR Martin Mac 250 intelligent lights (used for ambient lighting, not stage lighting)
FOUR Martin Mx-4 intelligent lights (used for ambient lighting, not stage lighting)
